Erik Chooi

I am Erik Chooi, a Life Planning Advisor with Great Eastern Life Assurance and a Risk Management Consultant for Allianz General Insurance as well as Zurich General Insurance.

My journey has always been centered around one core belief — that financial protection is not just about policies and numbers, but about helping people build confidence in life’s uncertainties. Every consultation, every conversation, and every plan designed is guided by that purpose: to protect what matters most and support families in building a more secure future.

Recently, I made the decision to join the Digital Builder Program. I saw it as more than just a learning opportunity — it is a bridge into the future. I joined with the intention to learn new skills in AI, video editing, and digital content creation, and to understand how these tools can be integrated into my business.

What inspired me most is the opportunity to connect with a new generation — people who learn, communicate, and grow in a digital-first world. I believe that adapting to this shift is not optional, but essential. By embracing these skills, I hope to communicate more effectively, share knowledge more creatively, and serve clients in a more meaningful way.

Looking forward, my goal is to master these digital skills and apply them in my profession, not only to grow my business, but also to inspire others. I hope to show that these skills are not just technical abilities, but powerful soft skills that can open doors, create opportunities, and even generate sustainable income streams.

At the heart of it all, I am still guided by the same mission — to protect, to plan, and to empower people to live with greater confidence and clarity.
